University of Guadalajara, Centro Universitario de la Costa

The University of Guadalajara (UDG) is the second largest public university in Mexico. It is a vigorous community, heir to an educational tradition forged along more than two centuries. The Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUCosta), an integral component of the UDG’s network, was established to address the educational needs of Puerto Vallarta and its neighboring areas, with a primary focus on fostering social and cultural development in the region. Within its Legal Studies Department, the CUCosta provides an accessible yet high-quality Law program. This program equips students to specialize in various legal practice areas, including criminal, civil, commercial, and labor law, with an international and domestic dimension, and with an inclusive approach. The aim is to empower students to emerge as skilled and specialized lawyers, contributing to the legal landscape with proficiency and insight.
